Here's an updated progress shot of the koi since last entry. I picked a limited high-key palette inspired by a piece from one of the artists I e-Stalk on my tumblr.
Still gots more works to do's... I need to paint my shiet faster... :-/
Anywhoo... still toying with things... any suggestions/ideas I should tinker with?

wishing it was the holidays
It's been a while since I have posted....I cleaned up the blog a bit. It's a nice way to stay in touch, if even in this little way-now that we're all in different places.
I was cleaning out my closet, since I recently transported the burrow to Pacifica. My closet was basically full of many, many . . . . way too many sketchbooks--but I found old viz-dev and sketches! Here's one from Barron's class

hope everyone is well

[x] MechaniKal Koi
Just an personal illustration project that's taking me slightly longer than I had anticipated to complete. Got around to inking it out and erasing all the pesky col-erase sketch lines. Onwards, now, to color-comping to figure out a color palette and appropriate painting style.
Woot... any suggestions, my brothers and sisters of the Shrunkenhead?
